Young Investigator Session

Are you an early-career researcher passionate about sleep science?

Young investigators (≈ final year PhD level) are invited to present a 5-minute oral during this special session — a great opportunity to share findings, connect with peers, and gain visibility within the Nordic and international sleep research community.

All presenters must register for the conference.

General information

  • Registration: All presenters must register for the conference.
  • User accounts: The account should be created by the presenting author.
  • Multiple submissions: Allowed.
  • Encore abstracts: Allowed.
  • Proofreading: Please proofread carefully; no changes after the call closes.
  • Email: Include a valid email for confirmation and ongoing communication.
  • Publication: All accepted abstracts will be published.

Tip: Keep titles concise and avoid trade names in titles; if needed, include in the body (in brackets).

Abstract guidelines & instructions

  • Purpose: Clearly state the aim of your work.
  • Style: Use clear, straightforward language.
  • Review & ethics: Proofread; submit original work that meets international ethical standards.
  • Abbreviations: Define at first use; no trade names in titles.
  • Word limit: Max 300 words.
  • Submission type: Oral, Poster, or Young Investigator Session.
Recommended abstract structure
  • Background: Context & importance.
  • Objective: Aim or purpose.
  • Methods: Research methods / approach.
  • Results: Key findings or expected outcomes.
  • Conclusion: Significance and implications.

Author & theme details

  • Authors: 1 Main Author (presenting) + up to 25 Co-Authors. Include names, affiliations, and emails.
  • Title: Max 15 words, concise and descriptive.
